The Belgian architectural firm from Knokke-Heist, Claerhout – Van Biervliet, designed the impressive waterfront housing project.
Challenges such as limited space and the urgent need for sustainability are omnipresent in today’s architectural landscape. The Periscope project offers an innovative solution, including a transformation of our perception of reality. The Periscope House is a residence built entirely below ground level. It features a large central patio at the heart of the building and the outlines of an outdoor space, both situated below the surface.”
