“Xaveer Claerhout & Barbara Van Biervliet (Kinetura) with Berengo Studio made an impressive showcase where the leading part was given to the transformable building called Kinetower. Wim Mertens, composer for Peter Greenaway’s film “The Belly of an Architect”, made the music for the event named after the movement and deformation of objects and spaces – Metamorphism.
“This is a geological term referring to changes in rocks due to external pressure and heat and also to the transformation we aim for, slow and at first barely noticeable, but with an important result. Of course the name also relates to the Metamorphoses of Ovid,” explain the architects.”
