KINEKITCHEN

The kinekitchen (2011) is a cinematic manifest of a metamorphic kitchen.
For decades, neither effort nor money have been spared to make kitchens more ergonomic. Even high-tech components are developed to make doors and drawers open and close again fully automatically. The starting point is always the kitchen being closed as much as possible and everything being stored or put away.
Our approach would be that a kitchen sleeps or slumbers and when needed, awakens and comes alive. In its active form, the kitchen could be open as long as the act of cooking and being together lasts. Drive systems, deformation via flexible components combined with light and air adjustments give the cooking and dining experience a completely new dimension.
